Background information

Final year student currently studying for a MEng in Electonic Engineering at UMIST. Third year individual project involved the design of a PC based solution for adaptive optics. This required designing a piece of hardware to apply voltages at different points on a membrane mirror, and some software for a simple user inteface. Academic fields of interest include analogue/digital system design, and engineering mathematics.
